  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream , very cold
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar , sifted
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 8- ounce package cream cheese , best if out of fridge for an hour first
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup molasses


1Beat the heavy cream in a stand mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form, which should take about 2-3 minutes


2Transfer the whipped cream to a bowl and place it in the freezer


3In the stand mixer, beat the cream cheese until it is smooth and then add the powdered sugar
