This Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken is a rich, flavorful, and comforting dish that comes together in just 30 minutes. Tender chicken breasts are simmered in a velvety garlic parmesan sauce, making it perfect to serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
Ingredients:
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into cutlets)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ¾ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup fresh spinach (optional)
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions:
1Season & Sear Chicken: Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
2Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Stir in heavy cream, chicken broth, and parmesan cheese. Let simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
3Combine & Serve: Return the chicken to the skillet and let it cook for another 5 minutes until heated through. Add fresh spinach (if using) and stir until wilted. Serve hot over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
