Ingredients

For the Pork Chops:

  • 4 boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Garlic Parmesan Coating:

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

1Preheat Oven & Prepare the Coating: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a small bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and minced garlic.

2Season & Coat the Pork Chops: Pat the pork chops dry and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Brush melted butter on both sides of each chop. Press the pork chops into the garlic Parmesan mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.

3Cook the Pork Chops: Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

4Serve & Enjoy: Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan, if desired.

Notes:

  • Use bone-in pork chops for even more juiciness.
  • Add a splash of lemon juice before serving for extra brightness.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes or roasted veggies for a complete meal!
