- ¼ cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
- 1-2 cloves garlic minced
- ¼ tsp garlic salt or regular salt
- ⅛ tsp black pepper
- 1 lb salmon fillet cut into 4 portions
In a bowl, whisk maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Place salmon in a shallow dish. Pour marinade over, turning to coat. Cover and refrigerate 30 mins (up to 1 hour), turning once.
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Transfer salmon and marinade to a baking dish. Bake uncovered 15-20 mins, until salmon flakes easily.
Let rest 2-3 minutes before serving. Spoon pan sauce over top.
