- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 10-12 slices thin/regular cut bacon cut in half crosswise
- Wooden toothpicks
- 1 ½ tablespoons honey
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ to ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
Prep Chicken: Cut chicken breasts into 1 inch cubes.
Wrap: Wrap each chicken cube with a half slice of bacon, overlapping the ends. Secure with a toothpick.
Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Arrange: Place bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not crowded. Work in batches if needed.
Cook: Air fry for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until bacon is crisp and chicken is cooked through.
Make Glaze: While chicken cooks, whisk together honey, paprika, and cayenne in a small bowl.
Glaze & Serve: Remove bites from air fryer. Brush or drizzle with the honey glaze. Serve immediately.
- Bacon: Do not use thick cut bacon, as it will not crisp in time. Stick with thin or regular cut.
- Spice Level: Start with ¼ teaspoon cayenne for mild heat; use ½ teaspoon for a spicier kick.
- Make Ahead: Assemble bites up to 24 hours in advance and refrigerate.
- Reheating: Reheat in air fryer at 350°F for 3-4 minutes to re crisp.
